Heavenly Obi - Black belt. I chose my Divine Bow & Arrow artwork to decorate this, the final belt in my heavenly Obi series. The bow and arrow is one of the earliest gi back attacks a student will learn yet it is one that still proves its effectiveness at the very highest levels of gi competition. Heavenly Obi - brown belt. The Heavenly Footlock adorns my Meerkatsu brown belt. In the regular gi rules, submissions such as toe holds and knee bars become eligible only at brown belt. My instructor used to tell me that learning the leg attack game was like learning a whole new martial art on top of what you have been doing in prior belts. . Btw the best design is printed via dye sublimation, just like on a rashguard, so the ink doesn’t fade peel or crack.
