Do you ever think about how beautiful it is that humans cared so much about the universe that they even protested for Pluto, a celestial object they have never even seen with their own eyes, never touched, and will likely never visit? They fought for something in the cosmos because that is what humans do. We create meaning from the things we choose to care about. We assign significance to distant stars, forgotten places, and tiny worlds drifting through the dark and not because they belong to us, but because we belong to a universe we can’t help but love. Please just think about that for a moment, think about how beautiful that is, that we can feel such enormities of love for something so unimaginably far away. We are creatures that turn existence into meaning simply by caring.

“Love is a choice as much as it is magic. Magic comes in moments, but choices stretch out over time. We make them new each morning.”
