âIâm not a murderer.â
The sentence had become a chant, reverberated for months in his head until the words lost their meaning due to the constant repetitions. Eventually, Jongin gave up altogether and accepted the fact that he was a murderer. And still is.
Wandering around the city when the world is black with splotches of luminosity, he leaped from one rooftop to another. Kai is restless, waiting for a criminal action to take place; waiting for the decadence to soak his knife with blood, staining his vision with crimson again.
Tonight is no exception.
Heâs not a superhero from the comic books that you adore. Heâs not equipped with the kind of morality that the society expects him to possess. Sometimes it takes more than a sense of justice to right the wrongs, to punish the malevolent, and thatâs the path that Kai is taking.

Seven months ago? [/his eyes widen a bit, looking taken aback] Back in January? Why didnât you say anything the last few times I saw you? [/the question is almost hurt, shaking his head] Why keep it a secret until now?
-he drops his head, very shamefully as he answers in a terribly small voice- For a long time I waited. I waited for him to return. I looked everywhere, tried everything to bring him back. I didn't want to say anything in case he returned. -he looks up, biting his lip as he pauses- And I was going to tell you last time I visited but you were so shaken up with what was happening at the Academy. I couldn't put anything else on you. -he shakes his head- That seemed more important than Junsu's disappearance.
I remember Junsu. I lived with him, remember? [/shakes his head, frowning at his mug] That just seems soâ impossible. Like if Junsu could just vanish on you like that, then⌠[/trails off, not wanting to articulate the thought that anyone could just vanish, glancing up again, his voice soft] How long ago did it happen? You seem a little calm about it all.
It felt so impossible. But I guess anything can happen... -he sighs, glancing out the window as he drinks his coffee, sill listening to you intently- Â It happened, let's see. -he pauses to count the months- About 7 months ago. -he nods- That sounds right. -he swallows nervously, wondering how you'll react to him not telling you any sooner-

my name is... what? { yixing & taeyeon }
"Ah," she quickly said as she understood, conscious of even just that one small syllable. âYixing, Iâm sorry. I⌠I canât hear very well," her tone imitated his beforeâ slow however sort of mumbled. It had become a habit of hers, even though she didnât really mind. âItâs a very⌠interesting name. It sounds Chinese, and very pretty."
Ah, so she was hard of hearing. Yixing nodded in understanding. He made sure to speak in a clearer voice for her to hear easier. "Oh, I see. Don't apologize, please. Your pronunciation is perfectly fine." He gave her a wider smile and a nod. "I suppose it's right  for it to sound Chinese, It is, after all," he joked, "But thank you for saying it's pretty. Especially when you have such a lovely name yourself."

"Are you Yixing?" The goddess glanced up at him with curious and careful eyes. If heâd back away now sheâd obviously understand him since she was just a stranger knowing his name. Her blonde hair fell well along with her summer like gown. She would always wear dresses along with a bracelet of real flowers. The way they curled around her wrist made them seem still living which they of course were.Â
"A- A friend told me about you. She wanted me to find you." Shifting on her feet, she felt  bit shy because it wasnât like sheâd search for strangers any day. âLillian." The name rolled off her tongue pretty simplistic and nice, quick and without any hesitation. She could only hope that heâd know who Lillian was.Â
Yixing tilted his head, looking at the girl with a curious look in his eyes. "Yes, I am Yixing. And who might you be?" His brow furrowed a bit, wondering how this stranger came to know his name. She didn't look familiar, nor seem familiar at all. How did she know him? He paused, waiting for her to give an explanation.
Lillian. Yixing eyes widened as he nodded a couple times. He knew that name, the lovely young ghost who had kept him company for a little bit when he lived alone in China. "Lillian, yes of course," he said, as he opened the door wider, "Why don't you come inside? I can make you some tea or coffee if you'd like." Yixing stepped aside, allowing her to come in first. Yes, her knowing Lillian would explain how she knew Yixing's name, but how did she know Lillian?

Meet Yixing.Â
Persephoneâs ghost friend Lillian had kept telling her to meet this one Yixing. As her last wish, she had begged Persephone to find him and look after him but how does one find someone if theyâre supposed to go only by a name and not even a surname. Here she was standing now though with her fingers curled into a fist as she knocked onto his door with a heavy sigh. She was scared that heâd ask her to leave, think that she was crazy that would tell him that a ghost sent her to him. Perhaps heâd just throw her out and call the police but it was too late to turn back as the door started to slide open in front of her.Â
"H-HelloâŚ" She awkwardly greeted without looking up. This is it she thought. Nowâs the time when sheâll once again be treated like a freak and sent away, thrown out and probably picked up by the police too. A crazy woman claimed that a ghost told her to search up a male? How legit does that sound really.Â
Yixing tinkered around in his new apartment. He had been completely settled in, sure, but now was the time to adjust everything to gt it just right. Should I move this vase to this table? What if I hung this here? or maybe I should tilt the chair this way? In Yixing's mind, this was the fun part about moving. Making everything just perfect, for a comfortable yet welcoming setting. He had just hung a painting up when there was knock at his door. Strange, he wasn't expecting any company.
He opened the door, a puzzled smile on his face. His expression warmed as the woman in front of him stammered out a greeting. "Well, hello there young miss." He tilted his head a little, at her, wondering what she had come to his door for. "Ah, is there anything I may help you with? Or perhaps you would like to come inside?"
[/a look of faint confusion forms over his face, hearing the tale that starts so idyllicly, up until his eyes widen with surprise and disbelief] Youâre not serious. [/says it flatly, shaking his head, knowing that you wouldnât lie and still somehow finding the concept hard to grasp] He just up and fucking left you?
-looking down at his coffee at your harsh choice of words, he gives a sad shrug of his shoulders- I don't know... -he looks back up again- I mean, this is Junsu we're talking about. You remember Junsu. He was nothing but sweet, and loving. Always. He would blush if I just smiled at him, I swear. There was nothing to indicate any unhappiness with me leading up to his... Disappearance. -he takes another sip of his drink, finding it comforting- There should have been signs, right? Distancing himself from me? Coming home late or not all some nights?

romanzierexjongin said: You think so? (/he grins widely.) Iâm really thankful for that; if you want I can sign them? (/he asks shyly, biting his lip gently.) Oh, hm, I just needed a change of air, you know? A change of scenery, I got bored.
-he smiles at your offer, nodding his head once- I'll have to take you up on that, you know. running his hands through his hair, he nods a couple times in agreement- I understand that completely. I've been back and forth a few places myself, always looking for somewhere new to start over.
kuitae said: She was won over instantly by that bright smile, a little dimple poking at his cheek didnât help much either. She focused on the others lips intently, catching his name. âYehshing?" Her faced flushed with slight embarrassment, she knew she was wrong.
He smiles gently at the girl, noticing her staring at his lips as he pronounced his (also foreign) name. He watched her flush a little, finding her embarrassment almost cute and endearing. "Ah, very close," he says, kind tone to his voice. "It's Yi-xing." Yixing repeated his name for her, slower and more enunciated. Personally, he didn't mind mispronunciations of his name. In fact, to be fair, neither his Korean nor pronunciation was perfect either.

[OOC will bbl. Replies will be done then<3]
[/a frown spreads over his features as he listens, shaking his head with sympathy] I can understand that. That was back when you didnât really know anything about your powers, that you lived there? [/sighs softly, pausing for another moment] So you just moved back here to get away from it? What about Junsu? [/glances up, looking concerned] You said it was a long story.
-he hears his name being called for his order- Ah, hang on to that thought. -he stands to go get his coffee, thinking about Junsu as he does and wondering how to tell Yongguk about all that's happened- What were we talking about again? Junsu? -he sighs, taking a long pause- Well, you see, we moved to China together. We got an apartment together. Small, but perfect for the two of us. We worked, we studied, we spent as much time together as we could. -he pauses again, taking a long and stalling sip of his coffee- And then, one day, I return home and Junsu is just... Gone.

romanzierexjongin replied to your post:  romanzierexjongin said: China? Iâve been there...
Really? (/he asks, chuckling at the excitement evident in your voice, finding it endearing.) Yes, I am. A romance writer, a novelist. (/he smiles fondly as he thinks about his hometown.) It really is.
Oh my, a novelist? How exciting. -he smiles at you- I'll have to look you up then and read some of your works. I'm always looking for new literature, as it is. -he chuckles- So how did you make it to Korea? Do you travel much?
Why wouldnât she forgive you for that? [/bites back the statement of even I did that, shaking his head] Have you talked to her since? Maybe she just hasnât forgiven you for not saying goodbye. [/tilts his head, pausing for a moment before speaking again, his tone deliberately casual] A new start?
Perhaps you're right. -he lets out a soft sigh, feeling guilty for simply disappearing from the school- We've had brief interactions, but nothing further... -he voice is soft as he says this, before lifting a little as he answers your question- China, my hometown, they just carried a lot of negative energy. Plenty of bad memories to be found there. I checked out apartments last time I came. I guess it was a bit spontaneous, but next thing I knew, I was renting one and packing my things. Moving to Seoul all on my own.
