Juan could tell Connor didn’t want to explain any further and the last thing he wanted to do was pressure the medic into explaining something that could result in an emotional state. So Juan just nodded and drank his beer. He cared about Connor, he just hoped the other man was okay. The cop didn’t know all the details, but he got the feeling it was based on the fact Connor was trans that his marriage became rocky. “Don’t I know it,” Juan replied and laughed softly at the other’s assumption of him. “I mean…I thought I was for the longest time. I did have some guy crushes growing up, but I just chalked it up to me admiring the guy I was into. It was only after my marriage ended that I began exploring. I have to say, Connor. I had a really big crush on you when we first met.”

it had been a rough couple of years for connor with his transition being the only light at the end of the tunnel. now it seemed like juan was in a similar boat, marriage ending and being in a place like this. it made him even more curious since now he knew that his occasional work friend was a possibility for him and honestly it calmed his nerves a bit, knowing someone there who understood what he was going through to an extent. “ wow, i’m sorry to hear about your marriage but i have to admit, i’m really glad you’re here too. “ connor chuckled as he took a sip of his beer. “ really? i never would of guessed. i always thought you were such a sexy man, i just assumed i never had a chance. “ 

“Hey, If I’m lying, I’ll make it up to you. I’ve been told I’m very good at other activities too-” he winked and without using the words blow or job- he managed to convey certain innuendo possibilities. “Besides- what have you got to lose, huh?”

Bobby chuckled. “Depends on you handsome stranger-” he said, eyes raking over the other. “What do you mean when you say anything? Like, would you go in for a mutual groping while you drank my daquiri?” he asked with a purr. “Not that I’m very clothed at the moment.”

“ that’s exactly what i like to hear. “ connor offered the man a smile as he made his way over, hoping those activities included him getting fucked real good. it had been a while since he had a good fuck, almost a year. he felt like his virginity was growing back even though it was a social construct. “ i’m just trying to make sure you’re not some daiquiri gigglo, not every day a hot man like you offers me a free drink with no conditions. “ he teased, mostly joking.

even though, connor wasn’t exactly super experienced with other gay men, he still have his confidence and his 20 plus years of flirting experience. he quickly realized after being here for a few days that men here liked flirtation to be a bit more bold compared to be subtle hints which he could do. “ you’re so lucky, i don’t even want to think of the horrors of what could of happened if you had a weak heart. “ the older man quipped with a grin as the young man leaned closer to him, his own heart’s pace quickening slightly. “ i am very good at tests. “ connor let his hand on matthias thigh move upwards and around his hips to gently squeeze his ass. “ as long as i get to grab this ass, i’ll do anything you ask me to. “ 

paramedic? this was going to be fun. matthias’ eyebrows scrunch up together as he closes in most of the space in between them. “ so someone that can help in emergencies is almost the one that gave me a heart attack? ” of course he’s exaggerating, but it’s been long since he flirted with a man older than him. “ i’ll have you know i give my clients one warning. i don’t take it easy on them and i’m known for going hard. ” that’s if the man was serious about needing a personal trainer. “ although, i don’t think you need anymore work. and easy regime to keep up the impressive shape, maybe. ” 

as soon as he mentioned his job, it was like a light went on in the other mans eyes. he could tell this kid could possibly be trouble especially now that he’d moved closer to him, leaving mere inches between the duo. he wasn’t complaining though, he couldn’t when such a lovely man was hitting on him.  “ oh yeah? sounds like you need to rest especially after i’ve put you through so much. “ connor teased matthias, his hand finding it’s way to caress his thigh gently adding to the teasing. “ do i look like a man who likes to take it easy ? “ he raised a brow at the other man before smirking. “ and what would you suggest for a workout routine... for tonite? “

Despite the confidence he exuded, Benji had some days where he felt off and less than sexy. Maybe it was too much sun or too much fucking but right now all he needed was a drink to clear his head. He collapsed onto the barstool with a sigh, “You’re new here.” 

connor stopped mid-chug as a stranger plopped himself down onto a nearby barstool and spoke to him. everyone was so forward here which wasn’t a bad thing, it was just something he had to adjust to. “ what gave it away? “ he chuckled as he set his beer down and glanced over at the younger man who started the conversation who happened to be quite an attractive man.

Bobby was trouble. But most people didn’t mind his kind of trouble. And after awhile, it was just the kind of trouble you wanted to get into. And Bobby didn’t discourage that by any means.

“Well then you’ve probably never had a good daquiri- mine are the best-” Bobby said with a grin. 

“Yeah? What a coincidence. That’s something I’m a fan of too-” he said- his tone a little naughty as he held up a drink in a glass, enticing the man to come to him like one of those deep sea fish with a light on its forehead. 

He wiggled his brows at the other when he noted he was being looked over very obviously.

oh yeah, this man was pure trouble but after the two hard years he’d been through, trouble was a welcomed change of pace. i mean what’s better for a breakup or divorce than a bad boy to help fuck your sadness away? nothing. “ oh yeah? i guess i have to try one now to judge if you’re just bullshitting me. “ connor smirked as the man held up the drink as if it were a treat and he was a dog he was trying to lure to him. he wasn’t against that at all, in fact, coming from him, it was pretty hot. the already tipsy man rose from his seat at the bar and made his way towards bobby. “ do i have to do anything for this drink or is it free? “ connor raised a brow at the man, half-joking as he waited for him to either answer or hand the drink over.

“well, i think my extra goofy stayed on for a bit, i swear my ears were never going to grow into my head..” he said with a laugh, and got up finally to move over that one extra seat so he was now sitting next to the handsome man with a perked brow. once the drinks were ordered, he raised the new ones, “to getting your courage up!” he toasted connor, his smile wide and infectious. “the hottest guy i’ve seen all day.”

connor laughed when the other spoke about their rather large ears, his mind trying to image the younger man with those goofy big ears. “ if you have a photo, id love to see. “ he teased before ordering his drink. it was nice to be hit on, especially after the turmoil of his divorce and all. “ yes, to courage! “ he replied as he clinked his glass against the other man’s and took a sip. his cheeks flushed slightly just because he was caught off guard. “ i don’t know about that, have you looked in the mirror today? “

Jackson was in the mood for a nice, cool beer. He was also in the mood for other things, but those could come later. As he slid next to Connor, he couldn’t help but notice that the other looked quite nervous, he smiled and squeezed the other’s shoulder. “You look nervous, bruh.” said Jackson with a smile. 

instead of putting down the glass to respond like most normal men would, connor kept chugging. he was determined to finish his drink and surely enough after a few rather large gulps, he triumphed. “ and here i thought i was hiding it so well. “ the older man chuckled out as he set the glass onto the bar. “ wait - are you old enough to drink? “ he couldn’t help but ask since the man just looked so young.
