This particular photograph was taken by Andy Rouse, I found this by typing in wild life photographers in google and I found his website. When I first looked at this image I thought it conveyed the strong message of global warming and what it's doing do our wild life. The fact that the camera is at a high angle makes it more powerful, you get that sense of lonliness as the polar bear is sitting on the broken ice, you feel like you need to help him.
The lens which has been used makes the background look as though it's the world, the message could be that if we continue doing what were doing with the environment we could end up destroying it.

This is a photogram I made at College. I had to find various objects and materials to create this, we had to go into the dark room for this process to work properly. We used a piece of electrical equipment called an enlarger, this would help us create the photogram, we also needed to make sure we were using photographic paper.
After placing the objects on to the photographic paper and leaving them under the enlarger for around 5 seconds we had to then take it to the developer and leave it in there for around 1-2 minutes, after this we put it in the water for around 30 seconds, then we left it in the fix for a further 5 minutes, after this we put it back in the water for another few minutes.
I think my Harry Potter key ring and keys works well in my photogram. Everythings else shows too much negative, the bracelet would of worked better if I hadn't of over lapped it with my studded bracelet, the coins may have looked better if I had arranged them in a different way. If I had to do this again I would maybe arrange my objects better so they would stand out more to the eye.
