Up to a 350 word summary (soft limit, AO3 style).

Up to a 700 word outline (soft limit, at your discretion for what constitutes an outline).

An idea of the relevant characters, pairings, and tags (AO3 style).

You must submit information that you want the artists and beta readers to view in the necessary portion of the form, and it will appear exactly as you submit it (other than tag wrangling for filtering). We will not be taking any information from your document to fill out the summary sections, even if you put "it's all in the document." - what you put is what the artists will see.

Happy April, everyone! We're getting closer to the summary submissions phase for the Big Bang, which begins on the 20th of April - are you close to having your 3,000 word eligibility document ready? Writers, make sure you're signed up by April 19th to be eligible to submit your summaries!

You must be signed in to an account in order to sign up, but the email we will use to contact you is the one you provide in the form. You can log in with a personal gmail, for example, but fill it out with your fandom email - that will be the email address that receives all of our communications going forwards. We don't see which email you were logged into while filling it out.

If you were a participant in the last Big Bang and still haven't had the time to finish off your fic, now is a great time to tie off those loose ends before submitting your idea for this year's event. Reminder: we may deprioritise participants from last year's event that haven't completed their works by summary submission during the matching process, but we are optimistic this will not be needed. You can still submit if you haven't completed last year's piece, but remember to bear this in mind.

Another reminder that we have removed the requirement for participants to have a discord account and join the server as part of the event - all participants are asked to provide at least one social media so that we can have other methods to contact you, but emails will always be our first priority.
