But in real life, binoculars can fall onto the ground by mistake. So good binoculars must be able to stand the impact.  They have to go through impact testing process in factory inspection to make sure collimation and other factors are all within the spec even dropped to the ground by the users. In Mcslco Optics, we perform the impact testing according to clients' standard. Showing in above video is one of the ways how impact testing/ drop testing works in our inspection process.
