cat what the hECKING HECK is this. listen it just always brings a smile to my face to know that you like what i’m doing over here with marlene – even when i fear she’s too ridiculous ( which lbr, she definitely is ) – i still try to ground who she is & what her motivations are in reality – & honestly it all ties back to her family & her sense of familial obligation & her worries that what if she is not as good as the rest of them. i just – gosh thank you for this. you obviously know how i feel about your dorcas since i sing your praises on a daily basis on every single blog i have – but i’ll say it again. your portrayal is so important. the character building you do is so important. everything you’ve crafted for her is SO IMPORTANT. I L Y THE MOST EVER. 

    “You’re a BLOODY coward, you know that ??”  It’s the first time in MONTHS that she’s happened across her former roommate ( not friend -- that’s too comfortable of a term ) -- a chance encounter at a local pub. Her face alone inspires disdain, painted across her expression plain as day. “We’re out there fightin’ for people like YOU, ‘ya know ?? You used to be all fists & rarin’ to go & get yourself in some kinda squabble -- but when it really matters, you SCURRY OFF & HIDE.”
