What are the major themes you pursue in your work? My art practice has been strongly influenced by travel, and especially the time spent on, and by, the ocean. I used to be a quite peripatetic writer/photographer working for travel and sports magazines all over the world and I have been strongly influenced by a variety of sources; from Japanese ideas of Zen and Shibui, to Australian Aboriginal art and the notion of the dreamtime.
