yall ever think about garroth never once mentioning vylad by name until their reunion in s2. this was obviously so we couldn't connect the dots but if you think about the angst potential it's so good. unable to say his name or refusing to let himself because he doesn't think he deserves to?

im breaking my brain by trying to make an mcd timeline, specifically a timeline for the ro'meaves so i can figure out their ages for my rewrite ;-;

debating if i want to make the next chapter of my vylad in tu'la fic a different pov... maybe from inside the king's castle...

#i say as if i have finished the chapter i'm currently working on ;-;

i saw six for a second time this past week and it reminded me yet again that heart of stone is definitely zianna's song

like she stood by garte's side through everything he's done and through all of his neglect. she stayed with him regardless of his actions, maybe because she had no choice. she had to be there for her sons.

and also the lyric "i'll never see him grow" could apply to vylad. she never got the chance to see he grow and escape o'khasis because he died young.

zianna is such a tragic character which is why i think heart of stone resonates so well with her. she's suffered for so long- losing all three of her sons, and her husband turned into pseudo tyrant and she's had to watch it all happen, unable to do anything.

#i think my first post on this blog was actually about this too lol #zianna you will always be famous to me :(#i will always wish we got a more heartfelt reunion between her garroth and vylad #like those are her sons who “died” and now they're standing in front of her to rescue her #she must've had whiplash especially from seeing vylad since he's been gone the longest #which is why i am a firm believer she happily lives with vylad in a little cottage on the alliance island #even though he goes and runs off to tu'la #also i'll probably do a more in depth analysis with this song and zianna because aUGGHHH it's literally her #aphmau #aphblr #minecraft diaries #mcd #zianna ro'meave
