So this weekend I have 3 gigs on. 2 night of a Fringe show at La Boheme entitled 'Snap Crackle Pop', and a local show for Sister Rose at the Exeter. It's a shitload of running around from one side of town to the other in one night, as I have SCP at 10pm and then SR at 12am on the Friday, but it makes it all worth it as I get to 'live the dream' in one act, and then return to what I do best: drum. Did I mention that tonight is the night of the Fringe street parade? Well, it is, which means so many people will be out and about on this damp and humid evening. OH, and it's also Valentines Day! What a day to perform. If nobody comes out to any of the shows I'm doing this weekend, then this town has no hope of raising the profile of live music. Anyway, the rant must end here, as I am already late to sound check. Shyyyyt. If music be the sound of love, then play on. x
