| Tumblr-Core |

Features shown: Collard shirts and chokers are a big part of this style. Along with clashing black with pastel colors and pale filters. This was a little later in time, around 2017-2019.

| Hipster |

Features shown: Hipster falls under the Tumblr aesthetic because it’s where the style gained its popularity from, so I’ll just be focusing on what stands out as specifically hipster.

Of course the mustache merchandise is a necessity.

Holter tops, flower headbands, flower patterned clothing and overalls are key to having this style.

| Scene |

Features shown: Most notably scene revolves almost entirely around the hair. Brightly colored with chunky side bangs. While she isn’t the grim and intense Scene we often see, it is still considered Scene becauseeee..

Scene went out of style in the late 2000s but the people who left the style didn’t just disappear. Instead they turned to the popular alternative communities of the 2010’s such as hipster! Other subcultures they turned to were styles like Pastel goth and Grunge!

The pictures featured were taken in 2011-2013 so it’s this Scene limbo in between 2000s and 2020s where you can see the resemblance of both eras! The style might have faded but habits die hard! The old-fashion hair matched with fashion trends we still have today.
