Nuts and Dolts (Ruby & Penny from RWBY) comic I made in 2023 <3

Freckles and Constellations is a reference to the song of the same name from dodie

As for the context, I made several comics to explore Penny's humanity and senses after she got her human body. I liked to imagine AUs of her surviving after the end of Volume 8, and getting to Vacuo with everyone else

I composed a little song for Gary and Marshall Lee's first date! I wanted to make something soft/intimate/comforting to capture the sensation of a cold winter night, with a warm feeling in your heart.

I also liked the idea of the melody being doubled halfway through the song to symbolize the transition from being single to finding a partner; almost like the melody itself fell in love <3 (I'm sorry this stuff makes me mushy :/ )
