But he never pushed things too far. So when he started to get push-back, he stopped. “Or better yet, you can buy me coffee, in exchange for all the training.” ...that was his job anyway. His voice was light, airy, an attempt to bow out gracefully while still maintaining an air of teasing.

NOAH turned his attention towards max, eyebrows raised, “no thanks,” he shook his head going back to lifting the weights in front of him. “i don’t share well, and unless you are willing to just pay attention to me, then i don’t think i’d enjoy it very much.” he told him with a laugh, maybe he was joking, but it was all part of the game. 

     Reaching forward, Max slipped his hand against Noah’s arm, slightly readjusting his form. “Yeah, well, that’s because you’re greedy. You’ve always been greedy. But just for science, if I did look at that schedule...” Max decided to not complete the question, assuming he would hate the answer. Still. “Look, I’ll do my best not to take it personally. I’ll even buy you a drink or a coffee or something just to show you there’s no harm, no foul.”
