They missed the land. The connection to her birthplace, to the fertility of flora and fauna. Macha had faded - sister and aspect - and while another took her place, The Morrigan's grief remained.
In the wake of the Eclipse, fauna were behaving strangely, the sun and its midday aura, and that sighting. This was her land now, and they did not care for disruption ungranted.
So she sat, close to the heart of Goodluck, and tried to listen. Cross-legged, closed eyes - to all the unknowing a woman enjoying the morning air. They felt company approach and spoke with their eyes still closed. "Weather's fine today."
"Want a pop?" comes a voice in return. "I was planning on taking a break from job-searching to have a sit and enjoy the sun. Just as you say." max is in worn-grey zip-up hoodie, a bright red shirt beneath that. Her jeans are well-patched. She swings her bookbag (ancient canvas jansport) over her shoulder and begins to unzip it. "I've got a root beer and a cream soda." Her voice is casual, she's just assuming this stranger will be open to an impromptu pop party.
