Caleb is ONE! One year ago today, at 7:05 am, he made his dramatic entrance into the world. Caleb is the happiest, most easy-going, curious little guy, and has brought so much joy into our lives and to everyone who has met him. Happy birthday Cabu! We love you so much, and we are so lucky to be your parents. At one, Caleb loves dancing, throwing all of his food to Hampton, crawling in laps around the house, pointing out every dog he sees, saying bye bye, and emptying our dresser drawers. Caleb does not like sand, staying still for diaper changes, and wearing hats. #babycaby

feeling all the feelings as we kick off caleb's birthday week. a year ago, i was still waiting anxiously to meet him. today, it's impossible to imagine life without him. 😍 #babycaby

caleb is 11 months old today! his friend the koala is making an appearance, because he is headed tonight on his first international trip to Australia! this chatty little guy loves music, balls, books, "talking" and crawling in laps around the house. he still is not a fan of naps or hats. #babycaby

just a PSA that this dress from the gap feels like wearing pajamas, is surprisingly flattering, and, if you have a super casual office like me, will still lead people to ask you why you’re so dressed up. i now own it in three colors (and yes, i did walk into the store to buy it in blue, while i was wearing it in gray -- so cool).

2 years ago, with very little notice, we packed up everything and moved to California. Moving so far from everything familiar has not always been easy, but it has been 100% worth it. I am so proud of the little community we've built here and so happy that Caleb gets to call this state home. 🏡🌅💛#tbt

Caleb is 10 months! (where has the time gone?!) This guy is crawling everywhere and has 2 teeth. He loves music, dancing, bath time, strawberries, hummus, spinach , and throwing the ball to Hampton. He does not like taking a nap (I'm never going to win this battle) or long car rides. #babycaby

our generation gets teased for spending so much time on social media, but i just spent the last 15 minutes chatting on facebook with a mom (who i met through a facebook mom’s group) in brisbane, australia about where to stay and what to do on our upcoming trip. as a result, i now have a fully planned trip and a local restaurant recommendation where we will have a connection to the chef. really loving facebook today.
