I wanted to stay but I can’t I wanted you to stay but you can’t

I handed you the rope You hold on to it With a force lesser than mine It has always been a loose end all along.

I tried.I tried so hard.Yes I tried But then I got tired.

I got tired with my tears. I got tired of loving you I got tired of putting my heart on the line.

For it does not make sense at all.

I have seen this coming but ignored it. And now I am all alone picking up the pieces. Right where you left me.

I shouldn’t have felt tired but I chose to Just like when I chose to ignore that though there was no beginning,I can still see where it was heading.

I shouldn’t have let you go but I chose to Because you never did hold me just like I did.

There was no point of staying, waiting when all seems to be unclear.

Gone. Gone are the days we used to talk like there’s no tomorrow. For there is tomorrow but not for the both of us. Gone. Gone are the days we used to laugh at each other’s jokes All that’s left between us is the dead air we now both share. Gone.Gone are the days I used to love you For you never did give me a chance to let me love you.

And so I bid farewell to the love I thought we both share.

What started the act of stereotyping in our society? 

Maybe it is because of our constant need to know each other immediately drives this kind of act. Maybe we ought to believe and accept the information handed to us.Because we are impatient and love to take shortcuts.Because we are afraid to really get to know who the person really is for as we dwell into the deepest part of a person,you might not like him.Because we do not possess the ability to accept him fully. Is it because of one’s pre-determined values that serve as a basis on seeing things? 

Whatever the underlying reason may be , stereotyping is an act that builds up barriers between people Up until now, it is one of the major factor that hinders communication. It also prevents the flow of authentic information. An information that remains untouched from biases and prejudices. Stereotyping stops us from uniting with one another. It blinds us of who really is the true enemy with our unchecked judgments. This is a clear and utter injustice. The surface must not be the sole determining factor of who that person is. In fact, we chose information about ourselves that we want to disclose. In other words, none of us knows the whole truth.
