A look of gratitude came to Tasia’s face at Matthew’s explanation. In the moment she’d made the hole, she was thinking the world was falling apart, but to know it would be a simple fix and then it’d be like it never happened was a relief. “That’s perfect, actually. Thank you so much for your help, this means the world to me.” Pulling out a sheet of paper and a pen from the middle compartment of her car, she jotted down the address of her apartment and then handed it over to him. “I’m going to grab some groceries, but I should be back before you get there. I put my number at the bottom, too, in case you needed to reach me for anything in the meantime.”
“Of course, this is what I do, I’m always here to help if I can.” Matthew had been building and fixing things since his childhood and he was glad to have the opportunity to help people in this town when they needed him. “Perfect, I’ll get all set up and head over, but I should be able to finish it all up today, if it ends up having more structural damage than I thought I might have to come back tomorrow, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.” He accepted the paper from her and smiled, “Great, I’ll meet you there, I want to stop at the drugstore before they close anyway. I’ll see you in a little while.”
