I say you’re asking me to follow you into Mordor, which, if I’m totally straight with you, I think is a really bad idea. But the Shire… The Shire is burning. So Mordor it is.

I wish everyone had gotten to know him. Really know him. Because they would’ve loved him. They would’ve loved him. Even in the end, he never stopped being Eddie. Despite everything. I never even saw him get mad. He could’ve run. He could’ve saved himself. But he fought and died to protect this town. This town that… hated him. He isn’t just innocent… He’s a hero.

Ok so a couple of days ago this theory surfaced and it was apparently removed from Reddit by an account of ST moderators (it could be bc of anything but because it was tagged as a spoiler it shouldn't have been removed)

Kas the Bloody Handed is a D&D character who served Vecna until one day he betrays him ans kills him

So Vecna could bring Eddie back to life (since his body was most likely left behind in the upside down), infuse him with Mindflayer particles (like Billy in s3) so Eddie can serve Vecna as a servant up until he betrays him like Kas did...

ALSO! In 4x01 when Eddie reveals Vecna was alive Mike mentions thar Vecna was killed by Kas... So that means the Duffers are actually aware of the existance of this character
