Oh yeah im totally normal. everything is normal here. I mean i guess i can talk about my au if you wanna hear about it... Okay so I call it the VR Au. Basically all the Life seasons were a virtual Reality experiment that suppresses their real life memories. This only follows a few of the participants tho, and Mostly Joel because he's my totally normal favorite. A new season starts, things are normal with all the usual material gathering and Alliance making (This takes place right after Wildlife, tho a few months between them) But then something goes weird. The sky turns dark, turning into huge panels of blackness separated by light. And then people start disappearing (like infinity war). Joel grabs Lizzie as she says she's scared, he says he's got her and won't let her go. She disappears anyway. So Lizzie wakes up. She's in this huge room with a ton of lights and weird machines and there are 18 pods, including hers, around the room. She pulls these things off of her head and looks around dazed. The room is in chaos. There are police officers handcuffing people in white coats, and her friends and enemies and frienemies waking up all around. Martyn is scrambling to get to Ren's pod, punching a nurse as she tries to get him to lay down. Scar is sitting up looking at his legs and panicking. Grian is trying to get to Scar. One pod isn't opening. Guess who. Yeah its Joel. Anyway that's how it begins. Here's some other key stuff about the au: (Disclaimer, these are all Character versions and in no way are meant to be about the creators obviously.) Joel, Grian, Scar, and Gem are all siblings (in that age order) Lizzie and Jimmy are sister and brother Jimmy and Scott were college roommates Scott and Pearl are foster siblings Lizzie and Joel met in Highschool as Freshmen Joel and them's parents were the heads of the VR project It was obviously, not presented as a death match with suppressed memories Joel's whole Red Mania thing is because he has a resistance to Sedation so they kept giving him more and it caused weird chemical imbalances in his brain, also the reason he hasn't woken up Scar being the first death in the series was when the tech wasn't perfect so it caused bad things to happen

Anyway I thought we could push on and make the date work but I have all of these memories of secrets that this you never chose to share, decisions that this you never made, and intimacies that this you never experienced. And it's kind of screwing with the vibe yeah. Also on the date it was really, blatantly clear that you're sixteen whereas I have memories of ruling a fantasy kingdom for thirty years so like... that's a problem all on its own. Anyway this you just feels more like a daughter to me. A daughter with the woman I gave my heart and soul to over and over and received like in return, only to lose her forever on the journey home. On the plus side I can definitely help you with your math homework now.
