Skip Beat Kickstarter Perks
Come on, someone has to have enough savings hanging around in order to take Pied Piper up on the once in a lifetime Dream Star, Talento, and Love Me Section perks. I donāt because my credit limit doesnāt go that high. Let alone paying the credit card, right? But I would give many things to be able to guarantee that I could fulfill this and take the opportunity myself. Unfortunately, no one seems to want my collection of vintage polly-pockets, or my maybe a bit too well used set of Redwall books. But not everyone should run into that roadblock.
Love Me Section is what Pied Piper has classified the $900 tier. It includes a private voice class via Skype with a Skip Beat! voice actor, which includes a read through of a scene where you get to play your favorite character, plus coaching and audio recording of the session. In addition you get a lovely signed Satin Baseball jacket (comes in blue or Love Me pink), plus everything on lower tiers--includes a DVD (Soon to be Blu-ray/DVD combo at the stretch goal) copy of the anime, chipboard box, vinyl sticker, Digital Behind the Scenes booklet, art booklet, and 11ā³ by 17ā³ folded poster that is signed by the dub cast members.
And if that isnāt enough perks, the Talento, is the next step above. For the $2,000 tier, you get to visit the LA dub session in person, including a one-on-one voice acting lesson. The flight and hotel will be suggested but not paid for. All the lower tier perks are included once again.
Then there is the Dream Star. At the $5,000 tier it is the top of the line, including everything below it, and in addition, you get signed as a voice actor in the dub. The voice acting lesson, the signed jacket, the set of the anime, chipboard box, vinyl sticker, behind the scenes booklet, art booklet, and signed poster are the main perks in my opinion but there are still some perks that Iām glossing over in my summation.
So in summation, someone really should take these spots. Both the Love Me Section and the Dream Star has been expanded to accommodate demand for the higher tiers, and no one has successfully filled these limited access, once in a lifetime perks, after the expansion. There are two spots for the Dream Star Tier still open as I write this. There is also one Talento spot that has not been filled since this opened, and two more spots for the Love Me Section.
Quite honestly, there are plenty of opportunities to help out in this campaign, and not just for the perks (although those are pretty awesome!). Out of the currently 745 backers, the current pledge is averaging about $130 per person. I believe that this campaign is worth broadcasting, in hopes it might spark some interest with someone who might not regularly check their dashboard, but has the interest and means to help out the campaign.
I am super pumped about it. Iāve been almost stalking the page, and every time I see that someone has added a pledge it sends a little spurt of pleasure. If I see that we go up by the average pledge amount, it makes me smile, and whenever we hit another thousand mark closer to our goal it makes my day.
Pied Piper has told backers and the public in the last update that the voice actress for Kanae Kotonami has been chosen, and the name will be released when the campaign hits the 100K mark. We are currently only 3.6K off, and that can be easily reached with more people pledging towards the project with whatever they can spare.
This Kickstarter will end on April 16, and this is April 2. Onward and upward! Our revenge and goal is close at hand.
Please, if you see this post, reblog it and spread the word to your followers. The more exposure, the more chances that the people that would be willing to contribute will be able to know about the campaign.
