Matchless is over, what now?
First off, I just wanna say.. Thank you. Thank you to everyone cast, crew, fans, casual viewers, backers. Thank you to everyone who helped make this little web series happen. Thank you for believing in this small ragtag bunch we call a production team. It was probably my favorite project I’ve worked on so far, and I’m so lucky that I was able to produce it. I went headfirst into it, barely knowing anyone involved, and now at the finale I emerged with a whole group of close friends, co-workers, and we’re like a small little family now. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some extremely talented people in front and behind the camera and I’m just… I’m glad it happened. So thank you.
We have a bunch of fun extra content coming your way from Matchless!
We haven’t forgotten about the livestreams with the cast! We’re trying to work around everyone’s schedules so it’s a bit hectic.
In addition to releasing the rest of the Matchless content, the channel will have some more content coming!
We’re in the process of developing and setting up monthly or bi-monthly script pitching contests, where we ask you all (so long as you’re not in the film industry already) to send us your best 3 page scripts; the winner will be chosen based on story content and production value! More info coming for that soon.
We’ve partnered up with some more talented crew members, as well as bringing Matt Militano (Wes from Matchless) on board as a writer, director, and talent.
We’re officially entering preproduction for a short skit Matt’s written, and he’ll direct and appear in it! It’s called “Hey Girl” and we’ll be going to camera late October.
We’re in the process of shooting two music videos at the moment for a local indie/folk artist. I think some of you might like the music so if you’re into that genre, keep an eye out!
A drama/romance short film coming along sometime in the winter months.
A goofy skit involving cats. With voices. Yep we’re going there.
We’re teaming up with the writer and director of sci-fi web series “Latent” (it’s still in post at the moment, sorry) to develop another sci-fi series, most likely within the LGBTQ realm again.
There will be a behind-the-scenes series, documenting each crew member’s “a day in the life” while working on these projects. You’ll be able to see how we operate: see the directors work with talent, watch the grip and electric department work with the director of photography to set up each and every shot, watch the editors and visual effects editors make everything come together, and more!
Interested in any of those projects? Subscribe to our channel HERE and have some fun with us!
