Visiting Earth
Kaon sat on a tree root, resting as his sparkling played by his pedes. The forest shielded them somewhat from the sky, but enough sunlight got through to provide the little ones light to play in. There hadn’t seemed to be much around when they had arrived, and the teal mech had taken the opportunity to stop for a time. The air was pleasant and warm enough, and the blind mech felt able to relax…
While Farsight nestled into his chest, Firedance and Breeze were building things out of sticks and stones, and such, and appeared content enough. Even Breeze seemed settled, playing in the shadow of his adopted creator with his elder brother opposite him. Firedance, as always, had a carefree light in his optics as he played, occasionally giggling and chatting to himself as he made what appeared to be a little house.
All was calm and, gentle animal noises aside, quiet.

Chloe had picked up a Cybertronian signal that she didn’t recognise, and although she had been constantly advised against doing this, she had set off to have a look by herself. If it went badly, she would just call for backup. As she got closer to the signal, she noticed several other small signals in the same area. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea…?
Peering around a large tree to get a better look at whoever the signal was coming from, Chloe was surprised to see a bot surrounded by… sparklings? Once she’d decided that he probably wasn’t a threat, Chloe was considering turning back and leaving them alone, but a twig snapped under her foot, and she realised she might as well make herself known to the stranger.
“Um… hello?”
Kaon’s helm cocked when he heard the twig snap, and the sparklings stopped their play to stare at the noise. Firedance cooed- the eldest cooed a greeting- and waved at the human, while Breeze immediately moved to his adoptive carrier, wanting to be picked up away from the stranger. The teal mech did so and shushed them with a soft smile. If this human had meant them threat, then their actions did not match their intentions...
“Greetings,” he called out softly once his middle child was soothed, favouring the human with a friendly expression, despite his lack of optics. “My designation is Kaon, who am I addressing?”
