At the weekly meetings the subject arrives at the office at the scheduled time and is presented with a document listing various tasks, assignments, determinations, rules for behavior, etc.  Her performance during the previous week is discussed and assessed and if it is determined that any rules were broken she is ordered to stand and lower her pants and undergarments and bend forward at the waist and place her hands on the table.  She then receives the appropriate number of swats with a wooden paddle, after which she is ordered to dress and take her seat again.  She is given time to collect herself– sniffle, wipe away tears, etc.–and then expectations for the coming week are discussed before she is dismissed.   Once weekly meetings are implemented, behavior invariably improves consistently and dramatically.
