The more I talk to her, the more I start to believe I was wrong. At the same time I wonder. I am fascinated. I mean when this person saw me, I looked like a clown. I did not realize until after how messy my hair was. She does so many good things. She seems to be living very successfully. A smart woman who is loving. And she..likes me? Saying that I'm a dream?:knowing I'm financially poor. Was attracted to me the moment she saw me. I don't get it. I'm happy to see where it goes and glad to have been wrong.

Well that was unexpected. As I walked out of the bay doors, I noticed a door dash driver park a bit past the shop. She took out a bouquet of flowers and began walking towards the shop. For a split second i questioned who would get flowers for my boss. Then I realized they were for me. She approached me and asked if I was charlie. I said yes and asked if they were really for me. Ha, I even said "No waaaay". This woman really sent me flowers just to have a happy Friday...

I think I forgot how to date. I was thrown off guard when a woman asked me out on a date at work. Dating has been the last thing on my mind. I sometimes forget it is a thing. I am glad that she lives far away to be honest. Not super far but far enough. I just don't see me being her type. And it reduces the pressure to meet up right away. If I go on a date she will see how awkward I am. Then again I do remember how she was looking at me.

My life does not feel real right now. Things are going well ..insanely good. I was fine by myself. Now I'm being showered with interest and compliments by beautiful woman? For being nice? I swear my life is always unbelievable. If I were a stranger listening or reading, I would not believe a thing. Which makes me feel this kind of happiness with a bit of an itch. It has been a week of this. I can't imagine it will continue. So I'll enjoy this fever dream while it lasts.

The older I get the more I accept being myself unapologetically. Honestly, I feel pretty happy knowing that not many people can truly say that and mean it. In this last year I've learned more about myself and who I am as a person, as well as knowing what I am worth. There truly are not many people with a soul like mine. One that is old, tired, a bit rusty, but always finding the humor in things.. Even in the roughest of times. To not let life make your heart cold when you have plenty of reasons to hate. And while Life has tried to pin me down a few times, I always get back up with a smile. Life is too short to take anything or anyone too seriously.

I don't know a single soul that understands what I feel or how much I know what this means. Not a single one. But I also don't know anyone else as confident in themselves that no matter what, one day they will be everything people thought was just a silly dream. To do it alone with a smile.

I wish I was normal.

If hobbies were observing things, that would be mine. Today I say for some time meditating with these bees. Helping them if they got stuck in the water. It's amazing how peaceful they are for me. I love their little faces. While they come close or land on me, I have yet to be stung.
