We are all dynamic beings, yet it is easy to relinquish our power to people or situations. But once we understand that we are the only rightful rulers over our lives and destiny, it becomes hard almost impossible to give away our power.

Trying to escape out

Can I get an escape route?

Destination brighter skies,

No smog, fog, or lies.

  Looking for a place to spread my wings and plant theses seeds of love.

Because everyone here seems to be afraid of love; including you and me.

We are at the point where we are halfway in,

tip-toeing, sort of toying with love’s deep mysterious waters.

Yet I’m so ready to dive in and ride the biggest waves.

But I get the feeling that you’ll just be watching me from a beach chair.

You’re tempted to feel the great vastness of the ocean but life is comfortable there.

Your emotions, safe and dry.

But here I am over that sureline, it might be time to just sail off.

You seem to be handicapped by the idea of drowning,

 caught up in a mental paralysis also known as fear.

So tired of fear’s life crutching illusion

There are things I desire in this world of ours.

I cannot wait any longer, not another day, minute, or hour.

Not sure what the journey may bring, but across this great expanse my island awaits.
