I don't think Shen Jiu should be the perfect shizun to Ning Yingying. I don't think he should have even been a good shizun to her. I think he should see Qiu Haitang in her kindness and naiveness and purposefully keep her in the dark so she can never be cruel. He should look past everything else she is and only see her as someone who could become a savior to someone who is hurt, a light in someone's endless darkness. He will never care for what she will think once she learns what he has done, because why would he ever let her know? Now, let's just hope some hurt kid who needs light doesn't show up, and give her a reason to question his actions...
