“Hoodie” was still Gary Hood when I first met him here in Tucson, decades ago. We worked a lot of Laff's events together. But we hadn't actually spoken in several years when I saw him about 3 weeks ago, sitting on a sofa right outside the MIXfm radio studio. A quarter of a century had changed our appearance, but I stopped and did a double take. That face; I KNEW it. “Gary?…Hood?!!” “Yeah, it's me Marty; How ya doin’?” What followed was a waterfall of lifetime highlights, compliments on big achievements, brief laughs about inside jokes from the events we worked together. He was in the building to appear on another show, and I had my own radio show to run, so we shook hands and said goodbye. For the last time, apparently. R.I.P., Hoodie.

MACOINCIDENCE: I read the lovely @gruber writeup about the new #BitCam app by @iconfactory; bought it and was moved almost to tears by the ancient-looking B&W images appearing on my "mini pocket computer." Then I realized: I was wearing my favorite ancient T-shirt, bearing the faded logo of @Tidbits. And I knew what my first BitCam Self Camera picture had to be. #system6lives

Alexa Mazerakis got married! She and her new husband David came to Tucson for a celebration at The Playground on Congress. Naturally, everyone wanted to see The Ring.

Awwww…Marcy hid a love note in my lunch bag! That is one of the greatest treats ever. If you are in a romantic relationship, I HIGHLY recommend the Hidden Love Note technique. Costs nearly nothing and the benefits are huge. I sent this video back to her as my reply.
