Eddie and Ari looked at her for a bit longer, both of them curious. Then Ari looked at Eddie. "Be right back." She said quickly, giving him a peck on his cheek. Eddie smiled and let out a soft chuckle as he watched her walk away, his cheeks slightly rosy from the quick peck as he placed his hand where Ari kissed him.

Marly spun around quickly, "Oh!" She exclaimed, "Hello!" She smiled at Ari, before stepping over so she wasn't in the middle of the hallway.

That morning was long, much longer than Marly would’ve wanted. But now she got to see Viktor, seeing him after her first class always made her feel much better. She held her bag close as she walked through the hallways, all until someone practically slams right into her side.

A young woman knocked into her from an intersecting hall, her hands full of books and gadgets. When the two hit, the latter slips on the floor, and a few of the little machines hit the floor with a sharp clang.

“Ack! Oh my goodness- Oh my god! I’m so, so sorry!” She rambled, quickly trying to see if the student was alright.

Marly quickly swiped her headset off her ears, hanging them around her neck. The first thing she did after that was bend down to help pick up some of the inventions, before looking back at the stranger.

"Ah, don't worry, you'e fine!" Marly replied, smiling as she held out her hands, each holding at least one machine. She then took a better look at one of the ones she was holding, before speaking again, "I don't believe I've seen you around. You're an inventor?" She added, seeming to recover rather quickly from the sudden impact. The appearance of the young woman was quite flashy, in comparison to the other students. While she sported the usual academy uniform, she also had a wild abundance of beaded bracelets around her wrists, as well as a purse that was bejeweled with keychains and pins. Even her dual toned glasses frames seemed to stand out.

“An inventor.. An inventor- Sort of, yes!” The assistance absolutely doesn’t go unnoticed, as the woman shoves some of the items into her canvas bag, a slight smile on her rounded face. She seems more frazzled than anything, her hair puffed up and her sleeves unevenly pushed up.

The one Marly inspected was an odd little thing, a palm-sized fish model made of scraps.

Seeing Marly’s dress was a welcome surprise, as the “inventor” focuses on the bracelets for a few extra moments.

"Pleasure to meet you, Lucielle," Marly replied, keeping the wide grin on her face as she spoke. She then looked away from the fish model, raising an eyebrow slightly.

"Well, you wouldn't be the first assistant I've met in my time here," Marly laughed, "If you don't mind me asking, who are you assistant to?" She inquired, raising her thin eyebrows slightly, seemingly quite the expressive individual. "And welcome to the academy, it is quite the place," She giggled, positively amused by their interaction.

"So you're both extremely new then, arrived about ten days ago during last week, correct?" Marly asked, tilting her head and raising her eyebrows as she listed the times.

"And the room Dr. Octavius now resides in is somewhere along the south side of the building?" Marly continued speaking, before finally finishing with, "And do you need help carrying all your items?"

She readjusts her bag and books, before looking back again. “No! No, no not at all, I’m so sorry again for the little run in. I should probably deliver this back though… Maybe stop by next break?”

Tilting her head to the other side, Marly realized how her words make have come out. Waving her hands in front of herself, Marly quickly spoke, "I know the assistant to the dean of the academy," she explained, "So I often hear of such things when the come along," chuckling softly, Marly nodded her head.

"Well then, I'll see ya around, Lucielle!" Marly grinned, "No need to worry about all this, it ain't like it's a big deal," she giggled, waving her arm slightly, the bracelets clinking together softly.

Lucielle looked taken aback, she was usually the one having to reiterate herself like that. She lit up with a little smile, trying to hold back a laugh.

Hopefully she had been able to see Viktor at some point that day, but with that aside. Guess who’s back.

Lucielle peeks her head out of a nearby door, as if checking for anyone, and when no other students walk by, she exits. The communal areas around classrooms were always quite large and peaceful, other students tended to congregate elsewhere, so when she caught sight of Marly she couldn’t blame her for picking that spot.

But, she doesn’t say anything. She wraps her cardigan closer to herself before walking swiftly past.

Perking up as she heard the voice, Marly smiled, taking off her headset. "Hello!" Marly chirped, shutting the notebook she was holding, then proceeding to do the same to the other two.

Ohhh this was her fault, wasn’t it. Lucielle had not expected for the student to hear, and she practically spun around. She looked a bit flushed, her brows furrowed and a nervous smile on her face.

“Oh! No, not really.. I just forgot something at the library back there and- You know,” Her words seemed rushed, for someone used to being looked past, it was strange having to actually explain.

Her gaze flits to the extra notebooks, but she pays no mind to them.

“Hey, are you… Usually by yourself?” The question just pours out, and she quickly brings a hand to her mouth.

Marly laughed at her words, waving her hand before replying, "Don't worry, you're fine!" She assured her, "And I usually would have someone with me, though I believe he's quite busy around this time of the school year," She smiled, nodding her head, "Yeah, with a lot of things going on. I'm supposed to be meeting him either by the library or cafe soon,"

“Oh, oh him!” She exclaims, clasping her hands at her chest. “He’s one of the brightest young men I know, that’s wonderful to hear, I’m sure he’s an invaluable friend.”

Marly grinned widely, "Mhm! Viktor, assistant to the dean of the academy himself," She got slightly giddy as she spoke, adding on, "An incredibly talented inventor and scientist," she nodded her head, fidgeting with one of the bracelets on her wrist as she spoke.

"I should really introduce you two properly when we have the chance. No formalities involved," she laughed, waving her hand at the thought of formal introductions.

Anyone could notice the joy in Marly’s tone when Viktor was brought up, even someone as usually socially inept as Lucielle, who cracks a soft smile and nods along.

She looks back to the door she came from, then to the hall they stood in, before nodding to herself. “You can come along if you’d like, I’m going to the library on this floor, so… You shouldn’t be late to whatever you’ve got planned. And I do apologize if I seem formal whenever I meet him, just a force of habit.”

Marly grinned, "Sweet!" She exclaimed, gathering up her items before standing up. She shoved the pencil and pen she was using into a pencil case, which managed to fit into her purse. Tucking her notebooks under her left arm, she also grabbed her red wattle bottle. She seemed very routinely with the way she held everything, and it didn't look like a problem for her to carry such things around.

Lucielle on the other hand was like an animal that didn’t know its own size, a bird with wings too big or a cat in socks. She still has her original bag, a navy blue messenger bag coated in jingly keychains and buttons.

“My apologies, I’m good at the whole apologizing thing,” She says lightly with a hint of a laugh. She isn’t even much taller than Marly, maybe by an inch, but her puffy hair doesn’t exactly help.

Marly nodded her head, pacing herself alongside Lucielle, "Yes!" She chirped, "So most likely, one of us three will spot the other," she added, glancing over at her.

Her brows quirked up, and her lips parted for a moment. “You’re… Interested in that?” She asked, blinking a few times. Usually Liv was the only person asking those little questions.

“Okay! Ok, well, I don’t remember where I got the bag, it’s my mom’s…” Lucielle rambles on a little, pinpointing every button that adorned her bag. They were mundane little things to everyone else, but she could point out the origin of each one as they walked.

"Now, what do you need from the library, in the first place?" Marly asked, her back to Lucielle as she plucked an art book from a shelf, flipping through it as she spoke. Talking to her was fun, and Marly had intently listened to her stories of all the little trinkets on her bag with great interest.

Occasionally, Marly looked around quickly for any sign of her friend, before looking back at the book or Lucielle, maintaining a smile on her as she did so.

“Oh, I just left something,” In all honesty, she was in such a rush earlier that she forgot exactly what it was, but she figured she’d find it. She tilted her head for a moment when Marly began to scan around.

Marly perked over at her, a grin spreading across her face, "Now I understand why you were in such a rush when I saw you," she laughed, "I would panic if I left mine behind," placing the book back and walking over, "Perhaps we could stay a while and wait for Viktor?" She asked, her grin growing as she asked the question.

Marly nodded her head, before plucking a few more books from the shelves. The artist soon ended up lazily lounged in a nearby chair, holding the open book in one hand, a pen in the other as she scrawled something in one of her notebooks. Her brows were furrowed in thought and concentration and focus, her body hunched over.

Soon, light footsteps sounded nearby, along with the clank of metal against the floor every off-step. Though, Marly didn't seem to notice just yet, as she was too deep into whatever it was she was doing.

"Marly?" A voice spoke up, and in response, Marly shot her attention over, a smile spreading across her face as she spotted Viktor.

"Viktor! Hi!!" She exclaimed, quickly getting up from her seat to rush over to him, mindful not to run into his cane. Grabbing onto his free arm, Marly grinned as she looked up at him.

"Hello, didn't we agree to meet up on the other side of the library?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.

Marly pursed her lips slightly, "I thought I would see you when I walked in. I saw a friend and decided to tag along," she replied, gesturing over to Lucielle, before adding, "I'm sorry," her voice the softest it's ever been since Lucielle had met her, a stark contrast to her usually loud voice.

“Yes! That’s me, it’s so wonderful to see you again as well,” She says with a deep nod.

"We do usually meet on the other side," Viktor replied, "Its more private, quiet, and overall more calm. And since it's more closed off, it's not much of a problem when Marly gets all loud," He added lastly, smirking slightly as he looked at Marly. In response, Marly lightly smacked his arm that she was holding onto.

"And I'm subjected to listen you ramble about science and school issues while we're there," She retorted lightly, snickering while Viktor grinned.

"You know you love listening," He teased, to which Marly laughed loudly.

"Remember who showed you around this huge building now, Mr. Dean's Assistant," Marly lightly chastised him jokingly, raising an eyebrow slightly,"Now do your job," She told him, pointing over at Lucielle. Viktor paused, looking over at her as well, it seems he was too caught up in the back and fourth with Marly. His expression softened as he glanced over at Marly for a quick second, before speaking to Lucielle.

Lucielle just watched them bicker, almost like a cat. When she’s actually mentioned again, she freezes up a little, and shifts her gaze to Viktor.

“Yes! Actually, it’s been wonderful so far,” She says, nodding quickly. “Absolutely perfect for us.”

"We have some time," Viktor told her, "So there's no need for rush, or to leave early," as he spoke calmly, he moved over to a chair and sitting down. Marly followed him closely, glancing at Lucielle.

"It's been a while since we've had people not directly from Piltover, so seeing you and Dr. Octavius is a nice change of pace," Marly noted, smiling at her. She then looked over at Viktor, "Don't you want to go back to our usual spot?" She asked, tilting her head as she stood near the chair.

"Thank you," he told her, before looking at Lucielle, "It's alright, sometimes this happens," he assured her.

“It doesn’t look ok,” She states, that look of gentle worry still on her face. “Marly’s right! You don’t have to exert yourself all the time,”

"Maybe I will, because now I have two people on me about this," Vitkor chuckled softly, looking over at Marly, who was fixing her purse.

"You really need to start carrying these things that you need more often," she told him, eventually taking off her purse and laying it on a nearby table.

"Well that's why I have you, and your purse that seems to fit way too many things in it," He laughed, throwing an arm around the artist, who nodded her head.

"That is very true," she replied, before leaning back and looking at Lucielle, "Thank you! Yes yes, you agree with me," she grinned, finally happy that she's found another person who would tell Viktor to rest.

“He’s got a point about your bag,” She says, looking down to it, in all its colorful glory. “But it’s good that you’ve got each other there.”

"It's been a while since we've had people not directly from Piltover, so seeing you and Dr. Octavius is a nice change of pace," Marly noted, smiling at her. She then looked over at Viktor, "Don't you want to go back to our usual spot?" She asked, tilting her head as she stood near the chair.

She tucks the pencil case in her jacket pocket, and looks over Marly’s shoulder with worried eyes.

Marly pulled something out, before unfolding it, revealing a small heat pack. "May I?" She asked, to which Viktor nodded his head. Marly squeezed the small self heating pack slightly to activate it, before gently placing it on his right leg.

"Thank you," he told her, before looking at Lucielle, "It's alright, sometimes this happens," he assured her.

“It doesn’t look ok,” She states, that look of gentle worry still on her face. “Marly’s right! You don’t have to exert yourself all the time,”

"Maybe I will, because now I have two people on me about this," Vitkor chuckled softly, looking over at Marly, who was fixing her purse.

"You really need to start carrying these things that you need more often," she told him, eventually taking off her purse and laying it on a nearby table.

"Well that's why I have you, and your purse that seems to fit way too many things in it," He laughed, throwing an arm around the artist, who nodded her head.

"That is very true," she replied, before leaning back and looking at Lucielle, "Thank you! Yes yes, you agree with me," she grinned, finally happy that she's found another person who would tell Viktor to rest.

“He’s got a point about your bag,” She says, looking down to it, in all its colorful glory. “But it’s good that you’ve got each other there.”

Lucielle shrugs, her focus finally stuck on one thing, the lovely pair in front of her. With anyone else, except the doctor, she’d have already changed the conversation topic, looked away, anything like that.

"It comes and goes. Today was just a particularly bad week, I suppose. I do appreciate the offer, though," Viktor replied, looking over at Lucielle.

“It isn’t much of a “class,” though.” She cuts in. “Just what Liv wants to put it out as. Sure! She teaches mechanics, but she usually just likes to tinker around in there.”

That morning was long, much longer than Marly would’ve wanted. But now she got to see Viktor, seeing him after her first class always made her feel much better. She held her bag close as she walked through the hallways, all until someone practically slams right into her side.

A young woman knocked into her from an intersecting hall, her hands full of books and gadgets. When the two hit, the latter slips on the floor, and a few of the little machines hit the floor with a sharp clang.

“Ack! Oh my goodness- Oh my god! I’m so, so sorry!” She rambled, quickly trying to see if the student was alright.

Marly quickly swiped her headset off her ears, hanging them around her neck. The first thing she did after that was bend down to help pick up some of the inventions, before looking back at the stranger.

"Ah, don't worry, you'e fine!" Marly replied, smiling as she held out her hands, each holding at least one machine. She then took a better look at one of the ones she was holding, before speaking again, "I don't believe I've seen you around. You're an inventor?" She added, seeming to recover rather quickly from the sudden impact. The appearance of the young woman was quite flashy, in comparison to the other students. While she sported the usual academy uniform, she also had a wild abundance of beaded bracelets around her wrists, as well as a purse that was bejeweled with keychains and pins. Even her dual toned glasses frames seemed to stand out.

“An inventor.. An inventor- Sort of, yes!” The assistance absolutely doesn’t go unnoticed, as the woman shoves some of the items into her canvas bag, a slight smile on her rounded face. She seems more frazzled than anything, her hair puffed up and her sleeves unevenly pushed up.

The one Marly inspected was an odd little thing, a palm-sized fish model made of scraps.

Seeing Marly’s dress was a welcome surprise, as the “inventor” focuses on the bracelets for a few extra moments.

"Pleasure to meet you, Lucielle," Marly replied, keeping the wide grin on her face as she spoke. She then looked away from the fish model, raising an eyebrow slightly.

"Well, you wouldn't be the first assistant I've met in my time here," Marly laughed, "If you don't mind me asking, who are you assistant to?" She inquired, raising her thin eyebrows slightly, seemingly quite the expressive individual. "And welcome to the academy, it is quite the place," She giggled, positively amused by their interaction.

"So you're both extremely new then, arrived about ten days ago during last week, correct?" Marly asked, tilting her head and raising her eyebrows as she listed the times.

"And the room Dr. Octavius now resides in is somewhere along the south side of the building?" Marly continued speaking, before finally finishing with, "And do you need help carrying all your items?"

She readjusts her bag and books, before looking back again. “No! No, no not at all, I’m so sorry again for the little run in. I should probably deliver this back though… Maybe stop by next break?”

Tilting her head to the other side, Marly realized how her words make have come out. Waving her hands in front of herself, Marly quickly spoke, "I know the assistant to the dean of the academy," she explained, "So I often hear of such things when the come along," chuckling softly, Marly nodded her head.

"Well then, I'll see ya around, Lucielle!" Marly grinned, "No need to worry about all this, it ain't like it's a big deal," she giggled, waving her arm slightly, the bracelets clinking together softly.

Lucielle looked taken aback, she was usually the one having to reiterate herself like that. She lit up with a little smile, trying to hold back a laugh.

“Oh! No, not really.. I just forgot something at the library back there and- You know,” Her words seemed rushed, for someone used to being looked past, it was strange having to actually explain.

Her gaze flits to the extra notebooks, but she pays no mind to them.

“Hey, are you… Usually by yourself?” The question just pours out, and she quickly brings a hand to her mouth.

Marly laughed at her words, waving her hand before replying, "Don't worry, you're fine!" She assured her, "And I usually would have someone with me, though I believe he's quite busy around this time of the school year," She smiled, nodding her head, "Yeah, with a lot of things going on. I'm supposed to be meeting him either by the library or cafe soon,"

“Oh, oh him!” She exclaims, clasping her hands at her chest. “He’s one of the brightest young men I know, that’s wonderful to hear, I’m sure he’s an invaluable friend.”

Marly grinned widely, "Mhm! Viktor, assistant to the dean of the academy himself," She got slightly giddy as she spoke, adding on, "An incredibly talented inventor and scientist," she nodded her head, fidgeting with one of the bracelets on her wrist as she spoke.

"I should really introduce you two properly when we have the chance. No formalities involved," she laughed, waving her hand at the thought of formal introductions.

Anyone could notice the joy in Marly’s tone when Viktor was brought up, even someone as usually socially inept as Lucielle, who cracks a soft smile and nods along.

She looks back to the door she came from, then to the hall they stood in, before nodding to herself. “You can come along if you’d like, I’m going to the library on this floor, so… You shouldn’t be late to whatever you’ve got planned. And I do apologize if I seem formal whenever I meet him, just a force of habit.”

Marly grinned, "Sweet!" She exclaimed, gathering up her items before standing up. She shoved the pencil and pen she was using into a pencil case, which managed to fit into her purse. Tucking her notebooks under her left arm, she also grabbed her red wattle bottle. She seemed very routinely with the way she held everything, and it didn't look like a problem for her to carry such things around.

Lucielle on the other hand was like an animal that didn’t know its own size, a bird with wings too big or a cat in socks. She still has her original bag, a navy blue messenger bag coated in jingly keychains and buttons.

“My apologies, I’m good at the whole apologizing thing,” She says lightly with a hint of a laugh. She isn’t even much taller than Marly, maybe by an inch, but her puffy hair doesn’t exactly help.

Marly nodded her head, pacing herself alongside Lucielle, "Yes!" She chirped, "So most likely, one of us three will spot the other," she added, glancing over at her.

Her brows quirked up, and her lips parted for a moment. “You’re… Interested in that?” She asked, blinking a few times. Usually Liv was the only person asking those little questions.

“Okay! Ok, well, I don’t remember where I got the bag, it’s my mom’s…” Lucielle rambles on a little, pinpointing every button that adorned her bag. They were mundane little things to everyone else, but she could point out the origin of each one as they walked.

"Now, what do you need from the library, in the first place?" Marly asked, her back to Lucielle as she plucked an art book from a shelf, flipping through it as she spoke. Talking to her was fun, and Marly had intently listened to her stories of all the little trinkets on her bag with great interest.

Occasionally, Marly looked around quickly for any sign of her friend, before looking back at the book or Lucielle, maintaining a smile on her as she did so.

The artist soon ended up lazily lounged in a nearby chair, holding the open book in one hand, a pen in the other as she scrawled something in one of her notebooks. Her brows were furrowed in thought and concentration and focus, her body hunched over.

Soon, light footsteps sounded nearby, along with the clank of metal against the floor every off-step. Though, Marly didn't seem to notice just yet, as she was too deep into whatever it was she was doing.
