Mark Laubenheimer

I had an amazing shoot with @laubenheimer_portraits and got two (of many!!!) photographs back! (You can see the full version of the left on theirs!) I am so honored to be a part of their work, and to push the boundaries between feminine and masculine. I feel so much comfort with my masculinity, that I neglect my femininity and feel weakened by it. He really helped me embrace that yes, I am predominantly masculine and have many sharp features, but it’s okay to have some softness and feminine aspects to me! He helped push myself and seek within myself some balance that I’ve abandoned. As someone who is androgyne, I always felt such a delicate balance both male and female, and I appreciate that about myself. Somewhere along the line I felt insecure about my female self, and embraced my male self. It’s a constant ebb and flow within myself to find the homeostasis that is my gender.
