My work is often a result of my personal urges and interests to capture an preserve. I always valued memories excessively, and within that there is a fear of forgetting. I try to make objective registrations of personal, intimate, private events and subjective matters. During obtaining this personal information I like to balance in between Art and Science. I have an interest in raising my subjective matter to facts, to rationalise them, research them and sterilise them. The results of these researches often leads to visual information that has similarities with the image world of science. In subtracting personal data, I often invent analog machines that are able to produce a tangible trace of intangible (often digital) data.  I am also interested in the world of Datamining, Big data and how modern society relates to these concepts, where people seem to feel a bigger urge to capture and share their experiences constantly, to proof their existence (instagram, facebook, etc.), but there is also the side of private and public companies capturing and saving our data 24/7 through modern technologies like smartphones etc.

What's mine is yours, 2015 Drawing machine, translating real-time motion/movement data of the artist captured through her smartphone. Plastic, pencil, paper, smartphone, macmini, arduino and several servo's. The data of the artist is captured and translated during this day while she is performing several activities. Everyday intimate activities such as brushing teeth, eating, talking, having intercourse, biking, sitting, shopping, pissing, and sleeping.
