Will you be transferring as much as possible of the old fics and asks over to your new blog?

Yes, I will. First by reblogs (because the love notes are the saddest part about deleting the old main) and eventually reposting them entirely fresh.

I’m going to try to retain the older blog for a long transition period so you’re welcome to reach out but eventually I request that all prompts and asks be sent to this new blog so that I can keep them when the old becomes deactivated.

Oh I think she does, although in the 60’s all of them tag along most of the time, a bit nomadic and perpetually chaotic but it’s what Elvis promised Elaine. Elaine just didn’t expect an entire decade of movie sets followed by a decade of national touring. So yes. At a certain point I see Rosalee tagging along even when others don’t, she certainly visits him in Vegas more often towards the end of the 70’s than the rest of them cannot with school, she chooses her college to be nearer to him. Memphis is still home he’s just so rarely home, it’s sad. Perhaps when she’s little there are also little Daddy/Daughter dates that they take just the two of them when he’s got short business to attend. 🥰

He looks so much like Elaine when he pinches the bridge of his nose that Elvis aches. Here's his son, with his face and build and blue eyes, but his fire is all Elaine. His Laney. His Tink, his rock, his wife.

"You gotta let mama go, daddy. You gotta let mama rest." And Jesse is the one who looks worn, looks so, so tired. It's a twisted fun house mirror of Elaine: suddenly he can see just how exhausted she's been, for so long he doesn't want to remember.

“We made that!” Elaine hisses excitedly in his ear through the tempo of Abba blaring as Elvis watches Jesse move among his wedding guests with the same giddy pride that Elaine feels.
