Henry Kitty
Well shit. Went to town this morning and on way home saw a black and white cat on side of road (dead) I commented how it looked similar to Henry kitty but being almost two miles from house I didn’t think it could possibly be him. When I came home from watching the well drilling all the cats were on the porch, except Henry kitty. I called for him and he didn’t come and I instantly knew. Drove up the road and stopped and sure enough it was Henry Kitty. Damn. He was such a good kitty. Only thing I can figure is he must have been on/in my son's boat when he picked it up Sunday, but I could have sworn he was around for feeding Sunday and Monday nights. He has never left the property so, strange.  RIP Henry kitty, you will be misssed. I did bring him home and bury him properly, so he is home now.Â
**OMG** update - Henry kitty is NOT dead!!!!  I came out to sit on porch for a bit, and Henry kitty comes walking up! I don’t know whose cat I buried, but it looked just like Henry kitty, right down to the torn left ear and 'spayed' male!!  At least it isn’t left on the road. BUT now my (adult) kids are laughing at me and calling me the "Roadkill for Funerals Collecter!!" I was STUNNED and relieved when my cat walked up, me sitting there remembering what a nice kitty he was and then, Poof Here he is NOT DEAD! LOL!!
