Having rented an apartment in the Cannategio (on a canal) with my friend @louifranke that has a great kitchen and spacious, modern living area just about 10 minutes from the Rialto market - I guess I'm going to find out! Tonight I joined a hungry group of people for Sichuan food. Now, in Paris, even spicy food is mild but here, omg so good, so flavorful. So varied and seductive. This dish is eggplant, and I promise you've tasted nothing like this before. Heaven. (at 东馆 Maison Dong)

So many pastries, so little time. This particular place in Cabourg was a favorite spot of Marcel Proust - he was fond of their Madeleines - understandable really, they are still delicious with a pot of Darjeeling tea. (at Ville de Cabourg)

The Grand Hotel in Cabourg has enormous chandeliers in the dining room. And that room faces the ocean. Overall, it's quite a dramatic place for lunch. (at Grand Hotel Cabourg)
