He is a secondary character that needed an update, his name is Flare. Years ago I did a sketch of a new martian character to be like an antagonist for Throttle, just for fun. You know, the cliché character that has same skills that the protagonist and somehow compites with him. He gets a little more of development later and started to be a more serious character in my mind and get a color portrait:

My version of Mace, the real martian mouse, not the rat of the serie.

In my story/AU he left Mars very young, not in good terms with his kind, so he went really far and knows nothing of what is happening in his planet.
