Sooooooo… they did get tired of the insufficient language of their relationship, but someone tell Sophie from a year ago they did the fucking phard phlaunch. thinking about how they used the word “terminal” in the tit song to describe our mutual parasocial relationship. thinking about how something being “terminal” is usually a negative thing, and how it’s not in this context, given that the next line is “this shit don’t phase me.” thinking about how dan is in charge of executing phil’s will. thinking about how the “fear of commitment” monologue has been all but removed (when compared to what dan originally said) from the wedding conspiracy explanation. thinking about how the point of the last tour was to be a last hurrah to make us happy so dan could leave. thinking about how they used to dance around language about the future, how there was a belief that one day one of them would move out. thinking about how now they're just so comfortable mentioning a far away future where they're still together and still making content for us in some form. thinking about how scared they used to be of the future, and how now they're excited to continue as they are for a long while because they're truly so happy now.
