I've got some blues - there are so many subspecies that I won't try to name them. Some of them were as tiny as a fingernail (about 28mm or less), some were almost twice as big

Two kinds of birds I had never before seen in Europe: white pelicans and flamingos. It appears that there are many flamingos in Turkey, right now they are raising chicks and people are kept at a distance so the birds don't get disturbed. Flamingos like salt flats like the one pictured above.
