***GIVEAWAY TIME!!! 🥳*** When it comes down to it, you might have guessed that our standards for absolutely *loving* Palestinian work are very high. 😅 Don’t get us wrong -- there is SO MUCH great work happening for Palestine everyday; the work SJPs do is just one example of that! But finding truly interesting, radical, and CREATIVE work is rare. The Glia Project has long been a favorite of ours for years for these very reasons. @glia_intl is a project, begun by a Palestinian-Canadian physician, that orients its work of creating generic medical hardware to be good both in the short term (by providing low-cost, high quality medical equipment and open-sourcing their work) and the long term (by circumventing, for one, the privatization of healthcare in Gaza once the occupation falls, as undoubtedly it will--soon). Currently, the Glia team has been working tirelessly on PPE (personal protective equipment) shortages both in the Canadian and Gazan health systems with their 3D-printed work (and other projects 😱).
