Thirteen-year-old Abigail Williams and her friend Liberty “Libby” German were walking on a hiking in Delphi, Indiana in 2016 when they disappeared. Their bodies were found the next day. The last known photo of Abby, as well as photos of an unidentified man, were found on Libby’s phone, along with an audio clip of presumably the same man saying the phrase “down the hill.” No arrests have been made for this case, though a few suspects have been named. There is also a reward for any information about the man in the photos, but so far no one has come forward with anything substantial.

36-year-old Johann George Elser, a carpenter, was hugely against Nazi regime and refused to give the Nazi salute once Hitler was in power. He knew that the only way to prevent the onset of a bloody war would be to assassinate Hitler himself. So he spent the next year preparing. Every year on November 8, Hitler would deliver a two-hour speech at the beer hall. Elser managed to secure a job as a carpenter at that same beer hall. Just a few days before Hitler would arrive, he installed a time bomb he had built himself near the speaking podium, set off to detonate halfway through Hitler’s speech. However, things did not go as planned. War had broken out two months before and Hitler had more urgent matters to attend to. Therefore, Hitler began his speech earlier than expected and this one only lasted an hour, as opposed to the usual two hour-long speech. Thirteen minutes after departing, the bomb exploded, killing eight Nazis and injuring more than sixty—and Hitler was not one of them. Johann was apprehended as he tried to escape to Switzerland and was shot to death on April 9th, 1945, in a concentration camp.

She then took wire and metal and wrapped it carefully around the model’s fingers and hands, as it to remind us that it is not just about the nails…hand care, as well as client care, is just as important in the new millennium.

Richard Ramirez, the youngest of five children in a Mexican American family, soon, like his older siblings, became subjected to his father’s violent outbursts and beatings as a child, and had become deathly afraid of his temper and hands. Richard later recounted, ‘’More than him actually hitting me. I was afraid of it in my mind. I’d seen him beat Ruben and Robert, and I’d seen him lose his temper over the television not working right when he wanted it to. They say it’s worse to see someone you love getting tortured or hurt than being tortured or hurt yourself. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I was real frightened of my father. When he lost it, I ran and hid, scared shit.’’ Often, Richard would grab his sleeping bag and sleep at the local cemetery to escape his father’s rage. 

Regarding the head in refrigerator, he [Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer] states he met him, a black male, about 25 years of age, at 27th and Wisconsin, and took him home and repeated the same actions with him. He states about one month ago, he bought a 57 gallon industrial drum and began placing body parts in it. Subject states on about 7-19-91, he met a white male, about 25 years of age near Marquette University, and took him home, had sex with him, gave him sleeping pills in the coffer rum drink, strangled him, and filleted him in the bathtub, dismembered him and placed the body parts in the industrial drum. - Excerpt from original Jeffrey Dahmer confession.

It would be four days before she would sleep again, she was so traumatized by her encounter with Harris.”
