      The sokovian put on a mock-pained face but smiled as she heard the other person’s apology, “ Yes. I’m fine. ” she said, waved her hand to gesture it was no big deal.     

     “ are you sure?! i can go get you some ice or something?? ”

     “ nice to meet you too, wyatt. -- so, how’d you learn how to do all that?? ”

“one thing’s for sure, not many people can actually say the same.” steve smiled, not wanting her to feel embarrassed for hitting him as it obviously wasn’t her intention. “we all have our not so graceful moments.”

     “ i guess i’m just one of the few privileged, huh?? ” a smile took their lips, thankful that the two of them were now on joking terms about the hit. “ even you?? that sounds fake. ”

               “ are you sure? ”

       jacee moved their hands down, fingers grazing along his arms before they filed down into his hands. latching their fingers into his. they’d only had a few people in their life they could consider loved ones, whether it be the family they had or the minimal amount of friends they’d picked up along the way. there was one thing for sure, out of all the people they’d cared about, adonis had quickly moved his way up to the top of her list. “ i’m more than sure. ”
