Rolland ponders for a moment. He knew he would need to summon Jaier, it shouldn't be too difficult but he would have to take some precautions, perhaps making. Larger circle around the being. As she appears next to him he yelps the all too familiar phrase ” Don’t touch me!” Dozens of fleshy serpents lash out through his clothing  tearing his shirt as the fangs bare at Catherine.

Catherine look at him with a brow raised, “Is that supposed to scare me? I been through hell and there are more frightening creatures that this.”

Jaeger wasn't thinking when he transformed, his body just changed on its own. After processing his impressive feats more talons began to rumble and viabrate another change was going on. "J-just leave me be..."

  "It’s a law in our world." she muttered, in a serious tone. "No humans are allowed to know about it. Once they know it, they must be a part of our world…or be silenced forever. I doubt your..magical stuff could do anything against..us. I’m simply a monster, Rolland." she told him, looking up to his face, her eyes facing his. "A soulles monster."

He nods in understanding, this didn’t scare him all too much, if at all. ” I stopped considering myself ’ human’ long ago, I am simply a collector nothing more nothing less.” He begins to ponder ” Let’s say that you didn’t kill me or have me join, then what would happen?” He was truly curious.

"I hear your heartbeat, can smell the blood in your veins, you are human. At least more human than me." she said with a calm voice, like it was the weather she was talking about. "I’m not sure. I was taught a few rules. There are people who take care that no humans know about us…if you keep quiet, don’t tell a soul about what you know… they most likely don’t even get to know you know something about it. Then you’d had a chance to survive." she sighed, it sounded probably way too complicated, but that was it what it was. Complicated.

He looks up for a moment thinking. ” So you’re in a secret group or race, that has hostility slash paranoia issues and can pull people in with an Infection or something like that?” He says thinking his right.

"No…No they..they only want to keep themselves..save..because..humans maybe want to destroy us, once they know about us. And nowadays they are able to do that. They are keeping the laws and rules because they want to protect our..race." she said, sighing. "Not everyone is like that. Theres only a..group..of some people..who takes care that nothing happens. ….I’m actually not even allowed to tell you THAT. I should shut up." she sighed frustrated.

He smiles at her ” You needn’t tell me another thing, Diana, I understand.” His tone was smooth and pleasant, and if she didn’t want to talk about it she had the right not to share.

"It’s complicated. I’m cursed. I’ll stay alone. Forever." she muttered, shaking her head. "Forever is a long time, Rolland." she breathed. "Because I am immortal." she finally said, after hesitating, deciding to trust him.

He nods with a smile, " Immortal huh? Well that's something interesting." He wouldn't have cared what she was because as far as he is concerned she Is Diana, and that is all that matters.

His breath becomes heavy and belated, his heart nearly beating out of his chest. unintentionally his body begins to change, the serpents become broader with a mouths full of long fangs. His bottomlip splits and a crease seems to reach down his neck.

The street lights are reflected into his fearful eyes as he utters a sharp, cold, ” Go… Away…”

Her insulting words seemed to drive him over the edge. He reaches out to her as his arm extends for her turning into a fleshy mass of claws serpents with a large hand leading the way reaching to grab her round the waist.  

Catherine was just about to even to teleport before she froze when she felt the claws and glare at him before turn to mist and appear behind him. “Dare to do that to a witch?”

"What’s a manner? Afraid? Gut." Catherine smirk at him before turn around having her back face him as she start walking away.

His shaking hands begin to clench. Oh how uncontrollable his fear was. As he continues backing up he bumps into the wall and jumps. His body begins to alter internally from the shock, accompanied by a symphony of crackles.
