hi everyone! i’m starting a comic based on my AU, which i’ve been carefully developing for 7 long years. this is a world where Undertale is merely the foundation for a deep psychological drama. here, mistakes are fatal, and a "happy ending" is a luxury that demands you pay with everything you have ✨

What makes this world special?

old:

in the summer of 2019, when i was a kid and had only known about Undertale for a year, a thought popped into my head: “what if i ended up in a underground filled with different monsters?” that’s how «LifeTale» came to be. quite a bit of time has passed (a whole 7 years!), but there isn’t as much content on LifeTale as i’d like. the reason for this was my overactive imagination - i loved coming up with characters and stories in my head a hundred times over without ever bringing any of them to life, and i lived only in my fantasies and the dream that someday LifeTale would become a big project with tons of content, that everyone would know about it, and that i’d be able to discuss it with others! but my laziness and my fleeting motivation, which kept me from finishing what i’d started, got the better of me.

i’m embarrassed to admit just how old this LifeTale really is. for all these years, it was just an idea and my silly fantasies - things i could think about forever and come up with countless stories about.

right now, i'm trying to write out the storyline, think through every detail, and share it with you! my dream is to one day write the whole story of LifeTale and draw a comic that everyone will love! you wouldn’t believe how many times i’ve tried to make this happen - my inner perfectionist was never satisfied, so i kept putting it off again and again. i’m trying to improve myself and overcome this problem.

after all, LifeTale has become a part of my life, and i’m not afraid to say that my main goal in life is to make sure everyone knows about it - to write the story, draw the comic, create a game, and make merchandise. that’s my biggest dream. (don’t think i’m exaggerating. LifeTale has become such a central part of my life that i think about it every day - about my characters, new stories, and new concepts. after all, it saved me during the hardest years of my life. i could mentally return to the fictional characters who had become like family to me, to find happiness and peace. and that’s the main reason why the main character is my self-insert, haha. and there's a little bit of me in each of the characters)

LifeTale is a place where i can let off steam, daydream about my characters, and find inspiration for new stories. whenever i couldn’t find support from the outside world, i sought and found it there. you could say that LifeTale is my diary, a therapeutic journal, so to speak. it contains all my grievances, problems, worries, and fears that i’m struggling with. that’s why the main character’s personal growth is my own personal growth. at the beginning of the story, she’s a little girl with her own insecurities and fears - she’s just like i was back when i was creating the LifeTale. as the story unfolds, she’ll gradually change, stop being afraid of everything all the time, learn to stand up for herself, and begin to love herself. cutting hair in the Lifetale isn’t just a haircut - it’s a break from the past and a transition to something new. you’ll be able to see this in the story (when i write it, hehehehe).

anyway, i’ve rambled on. i just wanted to say thank you to all of you who like my posts, who read my stuff, and who follow me. i’m grateful for your support and am always happy when people notice the LifeTale.

originally, Friz was supposed to have a soul of JUSTICE. but after giving it some thought, i realized that DILIGENCE suits her better. essentially, the soul of diligence is something between kindness and justice—after all, it’s a bright yellow-green color.

for those who didn't know and are interested: i'm actively coming up with unique SOULS concepts, and i really love this topic. i have a couple of posts on this subject - about all souls in LifeTale (in the moment) and corrupted soul Friz.

oh yeah, i’m back to working on character redesigns. right now, i’ll be actively drawing these redesigns (hopefully the last ones!) ( ฅ́0`*)zz…

so, here’s Friz’s redesign! i want to start making character cards soon, but for now, i’ll be posting things like this (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

her weapon: an axe (in progress).

her magical abilities are connected to nature and plants, and are mostly power-based.

here’s the full list of her abilities:

• Vine (active defense/counterattack): a cocoon or fence made of fast-growing thornbush with long thorns.

• Blossoming (victim attack/area damage): small, sickly yellow flowers bloom on its body, absorbing HP to fire sharp petals.

• Fungal spores (control/slow): Slows down.

• Photosynthesis (meditation/sprint preparation): Stands motionless to build up energy for a single powerful sprint (+ can be accelerated with food).

• Resin (healing/regeneration): Wounds are sealed with resin.

• Dry Bark (passive defense/damage reflection): The body is covered with a hard layer of dry bark featuring small jagged edges; anyone who attacks takes micro-damage.

• Wooden growth (emergency protection/stasis): Wooden growth forms over large and deep wounds (- ability to move)

• Silent Garden (protective zone/sound suppression): Thick, tall grass that absorbs all sounds and sound-based attacks.

• Vines (Control/Grapple): Thick, sinewy vines that emerge from the ground, preventing enemies from grouping together and pulling them out one by one.

• Adaptation (Mimicry): Can adopt or mimic enemies’ attacks, but only after observing them for a long time.

• Smoke Screen (Concealment/Blinding): The ability to raise a cloud of dry earth and dust into the air, creating an impenetrable screen.

• Enchantment (Stasis): The ability to “freeze” the state of an object, a living being, or oneself using evergreen vines that entwine them, preventing wounds from healing but also preventing the being from ultimately dying or disintegrating into dust.

• Scent of Oblivion (mass debuff): Emits a heavy, sweetish aroma of flowering herbs mixed with the smell of ozone. Causes hallucinations, fatigue, and apathy.

• Absolute Endurance (Passive Boost/Survival Mode): Suppresses the sensations of cold, hunger, and physical fatigue. (- Consumes a lot of energy)
