i love karma from new mutants so much because you create a character who is a survivor of child sexual assault and you give her a mutant ability that allows her to force her will on another character, removing their agency and violating their personhood. that’s fucked up! can you imagine being her in that situation? how you would feel using your powers? there is still so much to explore with this character

more people need to consume media how dedicated comics fans consume their media of choice

go up to any comics fan and ask them which writers house they would mail pipe bombs to and they’ll list of at the bare minimum 5 different people. ask them their favorite character and you’ll be greeted with an answer followed by why every comic ever featuring that character has been literally the worst and they refuse to read it again. truly i don’t think there’s another group of people so invested in something that they truly despise to such a great degree.

when you get crazy enough about The Character you'd think the situations you imagine them in would get more elaborate and lore intensive. but no. imagining my wizard pacing around huffily being slightly peeved at a mild inconvenience. I don’t even know what the inconvenience IS. and it's giving me enough joy to power a city for a month

One of my least favorite autistic experiences is probably putting in conscious effort to learn how to Behave Appropriately (not in the sense of Masking, just interacting with other people in general) and then watching a lot of other people, autistic or otherwise, simply not do that. Like oh we're just doing whatever now? You would have flayed me alive if I acted like that

I was gonna say “Jean and Bobby have the same taste in men” but outside of the other three members of the O5, who I feel don’t really count, my only other proof of this is Bishop. I think it’s less that Jean and Bobby have the same taste in men and more that Jean and Bobby know a lot of the same men.
