"I don't know" - Doe, John

This is a random, pass-the-time blog where I, the mod, will list some of my favorite quotes from the podcast series Malevolent. The most context you will get is the part where it is present. Maybe some random talking but focused on the podcast.

I do not plan on making anything else, as this is almost a diary-like sideblog. I will let asks open in case anyone wants to submit a quote or something, if you do, follow my formatting. BUT-

As I am still at the very beginning in the middle going through season 6, spoilers of the finale are a NO NO. As I have finished the main 60 episodes, Threshold is still a spoiler territory to me. No quotes from Threshold and we're good. Anyone who share spoilers will be blocked and any comment will be taken down.

As much as this blog is up to date, I'm no machine and will need time before listening to the most recent part. Please consider a cooldown of one week before sharing things about the newest part, or a clear sign from mod herself that I have heard it.

Assume the last part quoted here is the last one I've checked and, if you want to share a quote of your own, keep that in mind. Do not ruin someone else's experience.

Let's make a little test.

In threshold, we see lil sensitive John. My personal theory(?) is that he’s kinda trying to people-please Arthur. Their relationship has been rocky to say the least, and now that Arthur chose to have him stay, he doesn’t want to make him regret it. He’s trying his best to be “good” and tolerable. He doesn’t want to make him angry, and feels like he’s walking on eggshells with him, while Arthur having no idea.

He finds out pretty soon that Arthur doesn’t know shit, but finds him amusing so he just like, keeps him.

Bella is bitter about Arthur disappearing, thinking he’s run away to abandon her and Faroe. Faroe, now a teen, is convinced there’s something larger at play, and is looking into it, despite Bella’s wishes.

Bella is cleaning up his stuff at his office, when she finds something mailed to him…..

Genuinely bothering so many Malevolent blogs at this point tho.
