it’s okay if today didn’t go well. you didn’t get to practice for it. you’ve never experienced this day before— it’s completely new to you. you’ve never experienced this version of yourself before either. you’re just learning how to live. forgive yourself. i love you.

forgive yourself. all you were doing was what you thought was best at the moment. you didn’t have all of the information or awareness that you do now. treat your past self with love and compassion, they did all they could.

“i feel like i have no purpose” You are not a fixed entity. You do not have one grand, singular, constant purpose. As long as you have genuine intent behind your actions, everything you do serves a purpose. As long as you are truly present, you notice that everything contributes to a greater whole. You do not need to dedicate yourself endlessly to one practice to achieve a purpose; allow yourself to oscillate freely between them all. Experiment. You are not one dimensional: treat yourself as such.

This blog is dedicated to all of the girls who are “too sensitive”, who scrub their running makeup off with their own tears and some facewash every night and throw themselves onto the floor in overwhelming anger; the girls who have a strong sense of justice, who are punished for challenging authority, tradition and following their own moral code; the girls who are outsiders, who always felt like the world was never meant for them and that there was nowhere else to escape to. I see you and I love you.

Your soul knows. It will literally tell you when it's time to start a new chapter of your life. Trust it.
