A quiet homemade dinner, good. respectable booze, and interesting stories. Impress her enough, and maybe - just maybe - you'll get a glimpse behind the glass. (Meanwhile, I’m over here stressing over my majorship, huhu. English isn't supposed to be this hard)

Feed him sweetened blood and talk history with him, and you'll own his cold, dead heart. (In other news, I've procrastinated studying today. Someone give me the motivation)
For the past few months, it's been a constant struggle between doing what I want and succeeding where I can just to survive. My licensure exams are coming up in 3 months and I haven't even attempted to study. Instead, I've been fully immersed in my love of drawing and writing worlds for my creations to explore. I know I need to refocus, for now. Still, it stings to set down the pen and pick up a book, even when I understand why it has to be done.
