In 2012, Mohamad represented Palestine in mathematics in Malaysia, showcasing his academic excellence and commitment to his country's future. Now, as a medical student in Egypt, he faces immense challenges due to the escalating conflict in Gaza. Since the war began on October 7th, Mohamad has lost contact with his family, leaving him isolated and burdened with the weight of his studies amidst personal turmoil.

The destruction of his family’s home in Gaza has compounded his struggles, eliminating the financial support he once relied upon. Despite these hardships, Mohamad remains determined to complete his medical education and fulfill his dream of providing essential healthcare to his community.

To overcome these obstacles, Mohamad has begun a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for his educational expenses and potential evacuation. Your support can help him continue his studies and achieve his goal of becoming a doctor dedicated to serving those in need.

The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.
