Gimme elixir

I dreamt that I was on a train and met a man I've met in dreams before, on this very train, destination unclear. This man has cancer, and there doesn't seem to have been any change in his condition. Looks like Karl Pilkington, but with a rather more grave expression. We chatted about one thing or another, and when the train started to arrive at the station he told me that I could have taken another, more convenient, route. There was a particular expression that he and others used, but it escapes me now. I told him that if I took another route I may not see him again. He seemed to find this funny.

I was in Manchester for a little while and true to good old doomed cliched British weather following the pattern it rained almost nonstop the whole time. Did not get to see as much as I would have liked but I did acquire a snappy umbrella and had curry for both lunch and dinner on Monday. Helped someone retrieve a bag of crisps stuck in a vending machine. I want a non-working holiday and I want to go to vending machines.
