one of these days,   i really want to write about how important miraak is … not only to remilia / my dragonborn, but to the dragonborn (that you play as in the elder scrolls: skyrim) in general. like ……………… that Connection ? that intrinsic connection? it is so important and interesting to me!!!  in my eyes, even if you don’t see your dragonborn + miraak as “close” or even being on good terms w him, there’s still that undeniable bond (for lack of a better word) . even if u headcanon the two of them to be complete & mortal enemies as the game pushes u to be, that parallel is still there. truly i believe the connection between miraak & the last dragonborn is almost innate. they are literally & essentially two sides to the same coin. two prophecy-driven mortals that took two different paths. i suppose you could say that in my canon, i see them as being connected soul-wise. to me: remilia's & miraak's souls are linked, either by some primal draconic recognition or the fact that they are, essentially, the same person put upon the world for the same purpose yet not the same person at all. & u know what? in my canon i do consider them soulmates. not necessarily the romantic or platonic kind (though that could be possible) but some hidden third type ..... does this make any sense </3

hades & persephone plot... where your muse takes remilia away to an underworld-esque (dark, isolated) type place but to make her happy they build gardens for her / let her build gardens & make a little "world of sunlight & nature" so she feels at home :(
