I made the above potholders of our two dogs for my mum for christmas, and I’ve now listed the pattern charts I designed to make them on my etsy! Its just 3 charts showing you the colour postions each design, so you could use it to make potholders like I have, use granny squares to make a cushion, or whatever else you fancy!

I desinged this crochet sticker! I don’t have a good enough printer to print them myself so I’m selling them on redbubble! It means I don’t make much at all from it, but I can also sell my design on notebooks, and honestly when I fill up my current pattern WIP notebook I might buy one for myself :p

Crochet Bear Keychain Pattern (FREE!) by mahalamade
This bear measures about 5cm wide and is a perfect first project for a crochet beginner! If you like this pattern, please like and reblog it to share with others! If you’re feeling generous, please also consider donating to my ko-fi so I can continue to bring you more free patterns! :)
Materials needed:
8ply yarn in brown, pink, and black
2mm crochet hook
Stuffing
Yarn needle
Keyring
Terminology:
This pattern follows US terminology.
CH = chain
SC = single crochet
INC = increase (two single crochets in one stitch)
INV. DEC = invisible decrease (you can just use a regular decrease but I like the invisible decrease because it is less noticeable)
SL ST = slip stitch
Ears (make 2)
In brown, ch 2, sc 4 in 2nd chain from hook. Finish off, leaving a long tail so you can stich the ears onto the head.
Chain
In pink, chain 10, sl st in the 5th ch from hook, ch 5, finish off, leaving a long tail to attatch to head with. Adjust the amount of chains depending on how long you want the keychain to be.
Head
R1: In brown, ch 2, sc 6 in 2nd chain from hook (6)
R2: inc around (12)
R3: [sc 1, inc] x 6 (18)
R4: [sc2, inc] x 6 (24)
R5: [sc3, inc] x6 (30)
R6: [sc4, inc] x6 (36)
R7-8: sc around (36)
Stitch on face details as in the photo using your yarn needle, with black for the eyes and nose and pink for the cheeks. You can play around with different shapes for the eyes to give a different expression to the bear.
R9: [sc 4, inv. dec] x6 (30)
Pull the tail from each end of the pink chain you made before through 2 separate stitches where you want to attatch it. Fasten them with a knot on the inside of the bear’s head.
R10: [sc 3, inv. dec] x6 (24)
R11: [sc 2, inv. dec] x6 (18)
Stuff lightly.
R12: [sc, inv. dec] x 6 (12)
R13: inv. dec around. Sew shut. Sew the ears on.
Now just attatch it to the keyring and you’re all done! :)
Note: I wanted my bear’s head to lie fairly flat, but if you want a spherical bear head instead, single crochet around for six rounds instead of two (starting from R7 still)

Eiscue from Pokemon Sword! I made this as the final xmas present for my friend! He’s a bit more tubby than the Eiscue in the game, but maybe he just likes to eat! I half wrote the pattern down for him whilst I was making him, so once I get some time to go back over and perfect it (ie make him less tubby :P) I’ll have a pattern out for this guy!

I am working on making a series of gifs showing how to do basic crochet techniques! I think these could really be helpful, as they repeat automatically so you don’t have to keep pressing replay like on a video. My first set of gifs, “How to do a slip knot” should hopefully be posted within the next day or so!
